We produce and release our watches in batches throughout the year. Follow the links above to receive advance release notifications and find out more about our batch production method.
Our fumé dials are the result of a mistake that led to extensive experimentation by our in-house enamellers to recreate the effect uniformly. Once achieved, they developed the method further to create a dial with a tantalising smoked edge. To our knowledge, this is the first fumé dial realised in enamel.
Unique depth of colour
This smoky grey takes its name from the painter William Payne, who invented and popularised the practice of combining coloured paint pigments to create a deep, shadowy alternative to the colour black.
Heat treated hands
Our enamellers and watchmakers applied themselves to master the craft of heat tempering steel. The hands are individually polished, and then carefully tempered to create an even and consistent ‘straw’ finish. Each hour, minute and second hand is then grouped into a set of three with matching tones.
Numerals and indices
Inspired by cartographic maps of the Highlands, the numerals and indices on the Model 1 Fumé are enhanced by the dial’s fuliginous edge.
Our enamel dials are between two and three times the thickness of a standard painted brass watch dial. At only 11mm in depth, we've designed the case to showcase and protect the dial whilst fitting comfortably under a cuff.
Choice of straps
We offer straps in a variety of materials and sizes to suit your needs. All of our straps are made in Germany by a company which has been in business for over 70 years. See our strap fitting guide.
