At the heart of the Model 2 is the vitreous (or grand feu) enamel dial, made in-house by one of our three enamellers, each taking a minimum of 12 hours and many years of experience to complete.
Our enamelling studio has been operating since 2015, 3 years before the first anOrdain went on sale, and is now housed in a purpose built facility in the East End of Glasgow, UK.
Midnight Green was developed in tribute to the Cairngorm mountains at night where, during the summer months, it’s never fully dark. At a glance the Midnight Green dial appears black, but with a richness that black could never have. On close inspection, and under a ray of sunlight, the bottle green depths are revealed beneath the enamel’s surface.
The solid case back allows us to offer bespoke case engraving. Simply click ‘Custom engraving’ and enter your personalised message before purchase.
We offer straps in a variety of materials and sizes to suit your needs. All of our straps are made in Germany by a company which has been in business for over 70 years. Be sure to read our fitting guide for best results.
The hands we’ve designed are unlike any others you’ll find on a watch, with the body elegantly holding the luminous tips, much in the way a hand holds a fountain pen.
The contours of the case, and its 36mm diameter, sit comfortably on virtually any wrist, regardless of size.
The Daily ritual of hand winding suits the Model 2 well. Driven by a hand-wound Swiss Sellita movement, this movement is easily serviced by virtually any watchmaker.
