Designed and launched with OT: The Podcast, the Model 2 OT: Edition is a vibrant and colourful play on the traditional field watch.
The inverted triangle at 12, pointed baton indices and marked minute track ensure utmost legibility, whilst the bright pink lettering, outlined in a rich navy blue, pops in contrast with the white enamel below. The hands, thermally blued and finished with Super-LumiNova tips, further enhance visibility.
Fusing elements of classic military watch design and a contemporary colour palette, the Model 2 OT: Edition is a distinctly modern timepiece bound to brighten even the greatest outdoor expedition.
Unique depth of colour
The subtle tones of the off-white dial encapsulate what makes enamel such a complex material. In some lights, it appears pure white; grey in others. This is a dial that rewards close inspection.
Production & Shipping
Production on the Model 2 OT: Edition has already started and will continue until March 2022, when shipping of the watches will begin. For this limited edition, we are making 30 of each colour. Production will run alongside the making of our standard models, which will soon be available again in our revised ordering system.
Limited Edition OT: Engraving
On the solid caseback, a laser engraving of OT: The Podcast's logo and a map of the podcast's hometown Melbourne accompany our motto, 'Old Crafts New Hands'. Each watch also features its own individual number.
With an 11mm depth and 39.5mm diameter, the contours of the brushed steel case sit comfortably on virtually any wrist.
Heat treated hands
The hands of the Model 2: OT Edition have been individually heat-treated by our watchmakers to a deep and inky blue. Finished with Super-LumiNova tips, they provide maximum legibility upon the dial.
Numerals and indices
With the inverted triangle at 12 o’clock, pointed baton indices mark eight of the 12 hours, while custom-designed Arabic numerals signify 3, 6 and 9 o’clock in a dial layout strongly associated with field watches.
Choice of straps
Choose from two strap options: grey suede for a softer finish or turquoise natural grain bovine to add even more character and colour to this bright and playful watch!
The daily ritual of winding this Sellita SW210-1 movement by hand suits the nature of the Model 2 OT: Edition well. Reliable and robust, this movement is easily serviceable by virtually any watchmaker.
Individually assembled and regulated
We assemble each watch in-house and regulate them to suit your specific needs. Simple details, like on which wrist you'll wear your watch, can help to increase and sustain the movement's accuracy.
