How do we arrive at our prices?
As of May 2022 anOrdain employs 12 full time staff in production, 4 in development and 2 in organisational/customer service roles.
Those 18 people produce, on average, 40 enamel dials per month.
Our labour costs to produce the dial and hands constitutes the vast majority of the watch cost.
From May 2022 onwards we are targeting a 0.5x markup to our enamel lines, with a 2.5 to 3x margin to future non-enamel lines and a 0.8x markup to future pieces using enamel and/or engraving, including with precious metals. The industry standard is between 4 to 10+.
