Thank you for reading our waiting list guide. Below, you will find a list of useful bullets about the waiting list system. After this, we have included the terms and conditions of our reservation fee, which is a required payment in order to have a position on our waiting list.

Reservations and Allocations

• Paying the reservation fee will secure your build slot allocation for one watch.

• Your build slot is not tied to a specific model.

• The fee will be deducted from the final cost of your watch.

• The fee is a non-refundable, one-time payment of £350 GBP (+VAT for UK-based customers)

• If paying in another currency, the price will be determined based on the exchange rate at the time of purchase.

Waiting Time

• We have allocated a certain number of watches to be built each year.

• During or before your build slot year, we’ll be in touch to allow you to specify your order and pay the remaining balance.

• Your watch will be completed and sent out within your chosen build slot or earlier.

Payment and Pricing

• Our prices are set in British Pounds with a live conversion rate for international purchases. This means you can pay in your own currency.

• The reservation fee is payable by credit or debit card.

• If you opt not to pay the remaining balance, you will not be able to retrieve your reservation fee.

• Due to the length of the waiting list and the inflation risk, product prices may rise before you pay the remaining balance for your watch. We’ll cap any price increase at a maximum of 5% per year, reviewing pricing in September of each year. For reference, prices were set in 2022 did not increase in 2023.

Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions set out the terms upon which An Ordain Limited (registered in Scotland under number SC538227) and having its registered office at 38 St Vincent Crescent, Glasgow G3 8NG (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operating a waiting list (the “Waiting List”) for the watch products which it produces (“Products”).

In order to have a place on the Waiting List, a customer (“you”) must pay to us a reservation fee of £350 (plus any VAT) (“Reservation Fee”). Such Reservation Fee must be paid at the time your name is placed on the Waiting List. Your place on our Waiting List will not be recognised unless the Reservation Fee is paid.
The Reservation Fee is a fee for being placed on the Waiting List and, accordingly, is non-refundable.
If you wish to purchase more than one Product, you will be required to pay the associated Reservation Fee for each additional Product.
If we become aware of anyone seeking a place on the Waiting List for non-genuine reasons or where we have reason to suspect that you are looking to hold the place for a third party, we reserve the right to cancel your place on the Waiting List, and no refund will be issued.
We do not provide any guarantee as to the length of period for which you will be on the Waiting List; but on application can advise your estimated build slot and delivery period.
Approximately three months before we expect you to reach the top of the Waiting List, we shall contact you by e-mail using the contact details you have provided to us to confirm if you wish to place an order for a Product. It is your responsibility to ensure such contact details remain up to date. Your order will require to be placed within one month of our contacting you, and during that period, we shall liaise with you to confirm the content of your order, which will be for one Product per build slot, the type and customisation of which will be confirmed in your order.
The price and other terms upon which the Product will be supplied will be our standard terms that apply at the time. Reflecting the fact that each Product is manufactured to the customer’s requirements, the price will be set by us at the time of your order. The terms of your order must be finalised within one month of our initially contacting you (or such longer period as we agree to allow you at our discretion), failing which we shall consider that you have rejected your right to place an order and you will cease to be on the Waiting List.
You acknowledge that we cannot predict with any certainty the time by which we will produce any particular Product or the price for such Product given the change in costs of raw materials, labour and other production costs and also that each Product will be produced to your particular requirements to meet your order. We promise to keep any increases to our prices within 5% per annum of the price set in September 2022. You acknowledge that if you decide not to place an order within the timescale at (7) above or do not finalise the order during such period, we may remove you from the Waiting List.
Neither us nor you will be liable to the other for any failure or delay in the performance of obligations to the extent such failure or delay is caused by fire, flood, earthquakes, other elements of nature, acts of war, terrorism, riots, civil disorders, rebellions or revolutions, disease, epidemics, quarantines, pandemics, acts of government, a declared state of emergency, changes in laws and governmental policies, or other conditions beyond reasonable control following the execution of this agreement. If the performance of either party’s obligations under these terms (including making a payment) is prevented by any such circumstances, then such party will communicate the situation to the other as soon as possible, and the parties shall endeavour to limit the impact.
These terms and conditions are in place for all Reservation Fee purchases from January 2024. Reservation Fees paid before this date are subject to the terms and conditions in place at the time of the payment.
These terms and conditions are governed by Scottish law, and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
