In powder form, Parisian Blue is a bright ultramarine that, when fired transforms into a deep and inky blue. Reminiscent of the enamel street signs in Paris, serendipitously this particular enamel itself originates from the Aquitaine region of France.
With their experience working to precision timing at high temperatures, our enamellers have applied themselves to mastering the craft of heat bluing. In small batches, the hands are carefully tempered to an even and consistent finish.
We kept the feel of the original print design, inspired by cartographic maps of the Highlands, making some minor updates to enhance the visual balance and legibility of the dial.
With a sliver of copper sandwiched between up to 7 layers of enamel, our dials are between two and three times the thickness of a standard painted brass watch dial. At only 11mm in depth, we've designed the case to showcase and protect the dial whilst fitting comfortably under a cuff.
The solid case back allows us to offer bespoke case engraving. Simply click ‘Custom engraving’ to enter a personalised message or map engraving.
We offer straps in a variety of materials and sizes to suit your needs. All of our straps are made in Germany by a company which has been in business for over 70 years. See our strap fitting guide here.
Driven by an ETA 2824-2 movement, this watch can easily be serviced by virtually any watchmaker.
