The Fabrik collection offers an alternative look at the Model 1, with semi-matte lacquer dial colours inspired by the shades and details of antique Ordnance Survey maps from which our bespoke typography was derived.
The Fabrik Model 1 features a German-made lacquer dial and heat-treated hands.
A moody, greyish blue, this lacquer dial in combination with the traditionally blued steel handset forms a monochromatic harmony.
Unique dial texture
The concentric grooves of the dial draw inspiration from the contour lines of antique Ordnance Survey maps, bringing a sense of depth and texture to the outer dial.
The Fabrik series showcases a new dial material and new colourways for anOrdain in our classic Model 1 case.
The hands are individually polished and then carefully tempered in-house to create an even and consistent oxidised layer, protecting the metal from rust for centuries to come.
Numerals and indices
The numerals for the Fabrik Model 1 are a continuation of the Model 1 typeface, drawing inspiration from antique Ordnance Survey maps from the area around Loch an Ordain.
Model 1 Case
The Fabrik collection makes use of The Medium Model 1 case. At 38mm, the case size is a classic size and fits comfortably on the wrist.
