The Model 1 with Glasgow-made vitreous enamel dial and heat treated hands. Each dial has been the sole focus of one
of our in-house enamellers from the initial cutting of the copper blank to the final printing taking a minimum of 12 hours
and many years of experience to complete.
Unique depth of colour
The duck that gives the colour its name is the Eurasian teal - its feathers are often used in fishing lures, which, for a company named after a loch known for great fishing, seems the perfect coincidence.
Our watchmakers applied themselves to master the craft of heat tempering steel. The hands are individually polished, and then carefully tempered to create an even and consistent ‘straw’ finish.
Numerals and indices
Inspired by cartographic maps of the Highlands, the numerals and indices on the Model 1 informed the wider concept of the watch, from the case to the indices and hands.
Our enamel dials are between two and three times the thickness of a standard painted brass watch dial. At only 10.1mm in depth, we've designed the case to showcase and protect the dial whilst fitting comfortably under a cuff.
Choice of fitted straps
We offer a variety of materials and sizes to suit your needs. All of our straps are made in Germany by a company which has been in business for over 70 years. See our fitting guide.
Bespoke case engraving
The solid case back allows us to offer bespoke case engraving. Simply select the case engraving option and choose from either textual or topographical personalisation.
The small Model 1 is driven by the hand-wound Sellita SW-210. Reliable and robust this movement is easily serviceable by virtually any watchmaker.
Individually assembled and regulated
We will regulate the movement of your watch to suit your individual needs. Simple things like knowing which wrist you will wear it on can increase the stock accuracy of the movement.
