Model 2 Porcelain

Black

The Model 2 with in-house porcelain dial and bespoke numerals featuring hand‑painted Super‑LumiNova infill. Available in Large (39.5mm).

With the launch of the Model 2 Porcelain, we have created a true porcelain dial, developed in-house over several years, with our research aided by master potters in Stoke-on-Trent.

Each dial is made by our porcelain artist, Cara Louise, using traditional hand tools and processes, from the initial mould-making to the final high-temperature glaze firing. As a result, each dial has a uniquely textured surface, which may include small dimples or specks. These are distinctive features of genuine porcelain dials, meaning no two are alike.

Owing to this handcrafted process, production of our porcelain dials is inherently limited. We are working toward a number being available each month outside of our waiting list. For this initial release, we are giving current build slot holders the first opportunity to buy, followed by previous customers before general release.

Depth of colour

A traditional choice for greater legibility, our first porcelain dial features a specially formulated high-fired black glaze, creating a rich face with a classic appeal.

True porcelain dial

Press-moulded, glazed and kiln-fired to high temperature in-house, our porcelain dials are created using traditional materials and processes.

Bespoke lume handset and numerals

The Model 2 Porcelain features a set of brass hour and minute hands with lumed infill and complemented by a striking red seconds hand with lumed arrow tip, inspired by vintage field and pilots watches.

High-fired glaze

The Model 2 Porcelain features a traditional high-fired vitreous glaze, which fuses with the porcelain body to create a deep, glossy dial surface which is unique and full of character.

Numerals and indices

Designed by our in-house typographer, the numerals and indices of the Model 2 Porcelain are developed from the original Model 2 design, finished with pad printing and incorporating hand-painted Super-LumiNova infill.

Slim profile

Our porcelain dials are between two and three times the thickness of conventional dials, but at only 11mm in depth, the case fits comfortably under a cuff.

Choice of fitted straps

We offer a variety of materials and sizes to suit your needs. All of our straps are made in Germany by a company which has been in business for over 70 years. See our fitting guide.

Bespoke case engraving

The solid case back allows us to offer bespoke case engraving. Simply select the case engraving option and choose from either textual or topographical personalisation.

Movement

The watch is powered by La Joux-Perret’s G101. The automatic movement has a 68 hour power reserve, and can be serviced by any quality watchmaker.

Assembled and regulated in-house

We will regulate the movement of your watch to suit your individual needs. Simple things like knowing which wrist you will wear it on can increase the stock accuracy of the movement.
