At the heart of the Model 2 is the vitreous (or grand feu) enamel dial, made in-house by one of our three enamellers, each taking a minimum of 12 hours and many years of experience to complete.
Our enamelling studio has been operating since 2015, 3 years before the first anOrdain went on sale, and is now housed in a purpose built facility in the East End of Glasgow, UK.
Whilst some watches are inspired by fighter pilots, deep sea divers and racing cars, we’ve taken our cues here from the Sphagnum genus of mosses, commonly found blanketing highland peat bogs. Rather like the purple, this enamel yields a brilliant pigmented texture, giving this soft green dial an almost speckled finish.
The solid case back allows us to offer bespoke case engraving. Simply click ‘Custom engraving’ and enter your personalised message before purchase.
We offer straps in a variety of materials and sizes to suit your needs. All of our straps are made in Germany by a company which has been in business for over 70 years. Be sure to read our fitting guide for best results.
The hands we’ve designed are unlike any others you’ll find on a watch, with the body elegantly holding the luminous tips, much in the way a hand holds a fountain pen.
The contours of the case, and its 36mm diameter, sit comfortably on virtually any wrist, regardless of size.
The Daily ritual of hand winding suits the Model 2 well. Driven by a hand-wound Swiss Sellita movement, this movement is easily serviced by virtually any watchmaker.
