SECURE A BUILD SLOT

anOrdain watches are made by hand in our Glasgow workshop by a small team of specialist craftspeople. To allow us to manage demand fairly – while giving each watch the care and attention they deserve – we operate a waiting list.

Customers can secure a future production slot by paying a non-refundable reservation fee, which is deducted from the final cost of your watch.

Watch model and specifications are confirmed just before the chosen production slot, and the remaining balance paid. For information on availability see our new releases and core models page.

SECURE BUILD SLOT

The Model 3 Method – a collaboration with artisan cabinet makers Method Studio – is our most technically ambitious project to date. Starting life as a carved block of ash, we've translated the texture into enamel through a combination of technology and traditional craft.

The organic texture lends itself very well to blue and green-hued enamels. We tested over ten different shades to find the ones that worked best with the texture and finish of the silver, finally landing on two colours – the vibrant Aqua and tranquil Lichen.

The design of the Model 3 is designed to accentuate the enamel dial. The case features a sleek bezel, slim profile, and trench-style lugs. The hands, inspired by vintage compass needles, are heat-treated in-house.

The rippling texture of the Model 3 Method dial started life as a block of ash, hand-carved to create a unique and organic texture. Through an advanced 3D scanning process, we translated the wooden texture to a CAD model.

The 3D model of the texture is scaled down and engraved into a die, which is then used to individually hand-stamp each silver dial blank.

Enamel is ground into a powder and applied to the dial blank with a paintbrush, layer by layer, before being fired in a kiln.
